01-Apr-2000 KPIOS has been awarded ISO 9002

The American Petroleum Institute has granted us the authority to use the API monogram on our line pipes. Similarly, TUV of Germany has certified us for establishing and applying a quality system as per ISO 9002 for our submerged arc welded spiral line pipes.

16-May-2005 KPIOS has been awarded ISO 9001-2000

The American Petroleum Institute Quality registrar certified us as per the new requirements.

Facilities

05-May-2000 KPIOS has set up an internal epoxy lining plant

In cooperation with M/S. Selmers B.V. of Holland, KPIOS has set up an internal epoxy lining plant with necessary internal short plasting facilities. The facility is designed for lining our spiraly submerged arc welded pipes, longitudinally submerged arc welded pipes and seamless pipes, meeting the API 5L standards. The lining process corresponds to the RP 5L 2 specification, 3rd edition, and equivalent standards.

In Aug 2007 KPIOS has set up New 3 Layer Coating Plant

the Company sign a contract to procure the latest state of the art external coating plant for three layer high density polyethylene / Poly Propylene / Fusion Bonded Epoxy External Coating as a stand alone system. plant with a capacity of 800 square meter per hour.

In MAY 2008 KPIOS has set up LSAW PIPES

the Company sign a contract to procure the latest state of the art a new longitudinal submerged arc welding plant with a total capacity of 288000 metric ton per year to produce pipes from 16" upto 60" with wall thickness upto 35 mm with steel grade upto API-SL X-80.
